What this is
A feudal Japan revenge tale where prosthetic tools reshape stealth, traversal, and lethal sword duels.
What you actually do
You scout areas, move through them with vertical traversal, and alternate stealth kills with aggressive deflections and posture-breaking attacks. Progress comes from learning enemy patterns and improving your timing rather than relying on broad character builds.
Verdict
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice makes every clash about reading attacks, deflecting cleanly, and breaking an enemy's posture, with stealth and traversal adding useful alternatives. Its uncompromising difficulty and occasional technical frustrations make it a poor fit if you want a forgiving action game.

?+Best if
You want combat that turns deflections and posture breaks into a focused skill test.
!Skip it if
Repeated attempts against difficult encounters and a narrow combat style sound exhausting rather than rewarding.
